BB Ginger Tincture 1 oz.

This herbal blend is intended to augment labor in the case of stalled labor or to produce more productive labor in the event of prodromal labor. The herbs in this blend help to strengthen contractions and bring them closer together.

Ingredients: Proprietary herbal blend of Blue Cohosh, Black Cohosh, Ginger. Extracted with vodka. 1:4 dry herb to menstruum.

Suggested use: Shake well. Follow directions of your midwife or healthcare practitioner. For best results, place desired amount (5-30 drops) directly under tongue. Hold 60 seconds or as directed before swallowing.

Alternatively, dilute recommended amount in water or juice. Store in a cool, dark location.

Not for use prior to full term, this blend consists of herbs to strengthen or start labor. Follow the directions of your midwife or other trusted healthcare professional. It is best to start this remedy in the morning, following decent rest. If labor does not pick up within 4 hours of using this blend as directed, you should stop for the day to allow rest, nourishing foods and hydration, then try again the following morning.

Blue and Black Cohosh: these two herbs work together to augment labor by strengthening contractions and bringing contractions closer together. 

Ginger: by itself, ginger will not bring on labor. This is a warming herb, meant to act together with the other herbs in this blend. As a bonus, ginger can help ease nausea that may be present during labor. 

Consider our Labor Onward blend if a whole labor tincture with Lobelia is warranted. 

Do not use this blend if you have high or low blood pressure or other heart conditions. Blue Cohosh may cause changes in blood pressure. Blood pressure should be monitored while taking this blend. Discontinue if you develop high or low blood pressure or experience unwanted side effects. 

Speak with your midwife or other healthcare professional if you are pregnant, breastfeeding/chestfeeding, or if you have other health concerns.
