White Willow Bark extract. This is one of our favorite herbs to keep on hand. This herb is famed for its pain relieving and anti-inflammatory properties. A few of the most common uses are for back pain, headaches, and arthritis. White Willow Bark has similar effects to aspirin and may reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke due to its blood thinning ability.

  • 2 oz. herbal extract
  • Single herb
  • Alcohol free
  • Kosher and Halal certified vegetable glycerin
  • Crafted in small batches

Ingredients: White Willow Bark. Extracted with vegetable glycerin and distilled water. 1:3 dry herb to menstruum.

Suggested use: Shake well. Follow directions of your midwife or healthcare practitioner. For best results, place desired amount (5-30 drops) directly under tongue. Hold 60 seconds or as directed before swallowing.

Alternatively, dilute recommended amount in water or juice. Store in a cool, dark location.

We prefer a "less, more often" approach when taking White Willow Bark. This means taking fewer drops, more often rather taking more drops, less often. Speak with a trusted provider and find what works best for you.

These are general suggestions. Speak with your midwife or other healthcare professional for comprehensive instructions. Recommended dosage may vary.

Not recommended for use in pregnancy or lactation. Not generally recommended for use in children.

Speak with your midwife or other healthcare professional if you are pregnant, breastfeeding/chestfeeding, or if you have other health concerns.

Some herbs may interact with medications. Speak with a trusted healthcare professional if you are taking any medication.

A note on White Willow Bark: Do not take White Willow Bark if you are allergic to aspirin. Due to its blood thinning effects, do not take with aspirin or other anticoagulant medications with White Willow Bark. This herb may be unsafe for children experiencing symptoms of viral infection, (such as the cold, flu, and chickenpox) due to the possibility of developing Reye Syndrome as seen with aspirin. Discontinue 2-3 weeks before surgery due to blood thinning properties. White Willow Bark may interfere with medications and/or complicate illness, similar to aspirin. Speak with your trusted healthcare professional. Some people find that taking White Willow Bark brings moontime (menses) relief, however we urge caution as this herb can increase bleeding due to its blood thinning properties.
